Special event: Howay The Lasses filming, Kirkwhelpington

We're so EXCITED !!! Can you join us for a couple of hours in the late afternoon on Saturday 25th May ? We're delighted to let you know that we've received funding from the Ray Wind Farm Fund to help us make some professional music videos in the beautiful surroundings of St Bartholomew's Church, Kirkwhelpington, Northumberland. St Bartholomew's is the final resting place of Sir Charles and Lady Catherine Parsons the parents of Rachel Parsons. Rachel was the first president of the Women's Engineering Society and we're really looking forward to be able to film our song about her and the organisation she helped to begin in a place so closely associated with her family.  The filming is happening on Saturday 25th May and we're going to be working with the lovely talented folks at The Bigger Picture Film Company to capture something of the magic that happens during our live performances. And of course we'd love you - our friends and supporters - to be part of it !  We're looking for 15-20 people to join us as an intimate audience for a couple of hours (3.45pm arrival for a prompt 4pm start) and be part of the filming. You'll get to see behind the scenes as we put together the video and experience a live professional film crew do their work around us. The process should take just over an hour or so and as a thank you for coming we'll provide some drinks and snacks once we're done. We'll also make sure that any attendees get to see a sneak preview of our new videos and will be mentioned in the final credits !
